SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — A months-long drug investigation in Sheboygan leads to one arrest and the seizure of more than $100,000 worth of drugs, according to authorities.
The Sheboygan County MEG Unit says investigators executed search warrants Monday at four locations across the city: the 1400 block of South 8th Street, 1400 block of Alabama Avenue, 1200 block of North 12th Street and 1800 block of Superior Avenue.
Authorities say the searches resulted in the seizure of more than four pounds of cocaine, 10 pounds of marijuana and nearly 13 ounces of methamphetamine. Investigators also recovered multiple firearms and seized a vehicle.
A 34-year-old man from Sheboygan was arrested following the searches. Police described him as a “prolific drug trafficker” with previous drug and weapons convictions.
The suspect is being held at the Sheboygan County Detention Center.
Charges are being reviewed by the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s office.
The investigation involved several agencies, including the Sheboygan County MEG Unit, Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit, Sheboygan Police Department, Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department and Wisconsin State Patrol.
