MILWAUKEE— A 63-year-old passenger was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Milwaukee Wednesday night.
Milwaukee police say the crash happened around 7:35 p.m. near 68th Street and Hampton Avenue. A 34-year-old driver was heading west on Hampton Avenue when their vehicle hit another car carrying two people.
The 63-year-old passenger in the second vehicle died at the scene.
The other vehicle’s 70-year-old driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be OK.
The 34-year-old driver was taken into custody before being transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
