Let It Be owner Dave Meister joins What’s On Tap to discuss the Waukesha club’s one-of-a-kind inspiration: Liverpool’s legendary Cavern Club. Built with help from local artisans, Let It Be offers an intimate British pub atmosphere, live music and a menu inspired by the Beatles.
Meister also previews the Radio Rosies’ upcoming performance at the club on Saturday, Sept. 19. Catherine Kahler, Elizabeth Novacek, and Heather Blachowski share how their group formed and why they love performing the rich harmonies of the Andrews Sisters, McGuire Sisters, and other classic female vocal groups from the 30s, 40s, and 50s.
The Radio Rosies also perform “Blue Skies” by the McGuire Sisters.
