MILWAUKEE— Brewers fans will have a chance to celebrate the team’s return to the postseason next week with a special event at American Family Field.
The Brewers will host the “Rally for October” Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the UW Credit Union Plaza Gates open at 4 p.m., with a watch party planned for the team’s road game against the Philadelphia Phillies. First pitch is scheduled for 5:40 p.m.
The event will include appearances from former Brewers All-Stars Corey Hart and Geoff Jenkins, along with prospects Brady Ebel, Trey Ebel, Kyle Jones and Sawyer Strosnider. The group will take part in Q&A at 4:30 p.m. hosted by Brewers broadcaster Vinny Rottino.
Fans can also watch the game on oversized screens while enjoying live music, food trucks and activities throughout the plaza.
The first 2,500 fans will receive a free commemorative postseason T-shirt. The Brewers will also offer $2.50 brats, hot dogs and beer before first pitch, followed by $5 beer specials during the game.
The Brewers say a limited number of the City Connect Nike Air Max 1 shoes will also be available for purchase at the event.
The team is making its eighth postseason appearance in the last nine years and 12th overall.
Postseason tickets go on sale to Wisconsin residents during an exclusive presale Tuesday at 10 a.m. The general public can purchase tickets beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23 at noon.
