MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that former Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan will not have her license to practice law immediately revoked.
The court declined to immediately suspend her license following her federal felony obstruction conviction last year.
Dugan was found guilty of directing ICE agents away from her courtroom in the county courthouse, then allowing an undocumented man to leave through a side door.
She resigned from the bench and was not sentenced to any prison time.
The Office of Lawyer Regulation will now proceed with a full review of whether she should ultimately be suspended.
