MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Zoo is investigating after a child ran through the African Savanna habitat.
Video circulating on social media shows the child running through the exhibit while chasing a bird with a stick.
The Zoo says he was in the habitat for roughly 2 to 3 minutes before family member climbed in after and removed him.
The animal team removed the animals while the child was in there.
The habitat is home to home to cinereous vultures, Southern ground hornbill, West African black crowned crane, Thomson’s gazelle and American white pelican.
None of the people or animals were injured.
It is unknown if the family will face consequences.
