MILWAUKEE — Gun violence in Milwaukee leaves three people dead and two people injured after three separate shootings happened Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
Milwaukee Police were first called to 21st St. and West Pierce St. at 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 8, where two people were shot. The 26-year-old victim and a 29-year-old victim died at the scene.
The second deadly shooting happened near 39th St. and West Townsend St. at 10:05 p.m. on Aug. 8. Police found a 39-year-old victim with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital, where they later died.
A third shooting left one teenager and one adult injured. Police responded near 23rd St. and West Fond du Lac Ave. at 1 a.m. on Aug. 9, where a 15-year-old victim and a 34-year-old victim were shot. They were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for unknown suspects in all three shootings.
