WAUKESHA, Wis. — Waukesha police are investigating a deadly crash involving a train and a pedestrian Tuesday morning.
The pedestrian was struck by the train just before 7 a.m. near West and Progress Avenues.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where several nearby roads have been closed while the investigation continues.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
