SUSSEX, Wis. — Utility crews are working to restore power and assess damage after another round of severe weather Tuesday night across Southeast Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service (NWS) is reporting at least three radar-confirmed tornadoes from the storm system Tuesday night. Crews will be out Wednesday morning to inspect and confirm if there were any that touched down.
One of the radar-confirmed tornadoes was in Sussex. Homes, buildings and the Lisbon Presbyterian Church were heavily damaged.
After back-to-back days of severe storms across the area, there is still another chance for strong storms Wednesday afternoon and evening, according to the NWS.
