UPDATE at 3:00 p.m. on 4/15/2026 — The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF1 tornado touched down southwest of Endeavor in southwest Marquette County.
That tornado traveled on the ground for 50 yards, causing structural and tree damage.
UPDATE at 1:15 p.m. on 4/15/2026 — The National Weather Service Storm Survey confirmed an EF2 tornado touched down on April 14 in the Village of Lisbon, just north of theโฏVillage of Sussex, in northern Waukesha County.
Maximum winds were noted at 120 mph, with the tornado traveling 3.2 miles and staying on the ground for 6 minutes.
The NWS Storm Survey next heads to East Troy, then to other parts of eastern Walworth and western Racine and Kenosha Counties to survey damage there.
LISBON, Wis. — Waukesha County Emergency Management has confirmed a tornado touched down Tuesday night in the Village of Lisbon, just north of theโฏVillage of Sussex, causing damage to commercial facilities, residences, and other structures in the area. Officials say no one was hurt.
Waukesha County Emergency Management is currently assessing storm damage alongside theโฏNational Weather Service, with support from theโฏWaukesha County Sheriffโs Department.
โAt this time, our focus is on supporting recovery operations, coordinating with damage assessment, and working alongside our local, state, and nonprofit partners, โ said Waukesha County Emergency Management Coordinator Alex Freeman. โWe are grateful for the work of our dispatchers, law enforcement, fire and EMS, public works, utilities crews, and restoration teams who have been responding since the storms began.โ
County officials have also been in contact with first responders and theโฏAmerican Red Crossโฏand are working to confirm the severity and scope of the damage.
