CUDAHY, Wis. — A staff member in the School District of Cudahy is in custody for alleged sexual assault involving a student.
The inappropriate relationship between the staff member and student allegedly took place in 2023, according to authorities.
A female student at Cudahy High School reported the incident to school staff members and the School Resource Officer earlier this week.
Cudahy police say a 28-year-old man from Milwaukee was arrested on Tuesday.
Police confirmed that none of the assaults took place at Cudahy High School.
School district officials say they were made aware of the allegations and the staff member has been placed on leave.
The investigation is ongoing.
