UPDATE at 8:25 p.m. on 4/15/2026: The National Weather Service extends tornado warning for central Racine County until 9:00 p.m.
At 8:24 p.m., severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located over Rochester, or near Wind Lake, moving east at 40 mph.
The tornado warning for Walworth County expired at 8:30 p.m.

UPDATE at 8:15 p.m. on 4/15/2026: The National Weather Service extends a tornado warning into southwestern Racine County and northwestern Kenosha County in southeastern Wisconsin until 8:45 p.m.
At 8:16 p.m., severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near East Troy, moving east at 40 mph.

SULLIVAN, Wis. — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Walworth County until 8:30 p.m.
At 8:03 p.m., severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located near Delavan, moving east at 30 mph. A radar-confirmed rotation was noted, with flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter.

Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur, and tree damage is likely. Dangerous storms will be near Elkhorn, East Troy, Tibbets, Millard, and Abells Corners.
This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
