MILWAUKEE— Milwaukee Police are investigating two separate shootings that left two people dead and a child among three others injured Saturday.
The first shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. near West Appleton and Ruby Avenue. Police say a 43 year old and a 33 year old were both shot and killed. A 35-year old suspect was arrested at the scene. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
Hours later, around 7:45 p.m., three people, including a 6 year old, were hurt in another shooting near North 19th St and W State St. A 38-year-old, a 6-year-old, and a 23-year-old all sufferered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
