MILWAUKEE— A moped driver is dead after a crash on Milwaukee’s south side Tuesday night.
Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. near S 27th St and W Parnell St when a car traveling west collided with the moped. The operator, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken into custody. Investigators say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office will review the case for possible charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
