WAUKESHA, Wis. – If you haven’t grabbed a free burger voucher from a nearby George Webb, you’ve officially missed your window.
The Waukesha-based restaurant chain shared August 18 they are officially out of burger vouchers after handing out 100,000 paper coupons across all 23 of their Wisconsin locations.
The free burger giveaway is set for August 20 from 2 until 6pm at all George Webb locations following the Milwaukee Brewers 12th win-in-a-row August 13 against the Pirates.

George Webb’s famously gave away free burgers following Brewers winning streaks in 1987 and 2018. At the most recent giveaway, there were 90,000 free burgers given out along with 100,000 redeemable vouchers, according to the restaurant.
The free burgers promotion does come at a cost for the company, Vice President Ryan Stamm admits.
“We don’t have insurance for this,” Stamm explained to WTMJ. “In the long run, it pays off. Our customers take care of us. Not everyone is coming in just for a free burger. (The give-away) is strong for the brand and important to us but no insurance policy for this one.”
The Crew are now 76-44 on the season.
They’ll have a day off Thursday then embark on an 8-game road trip to Cincinnati and Chicago for a 5-game series against the Cubs.
