MILWAUKEE — The Brewers beat the Pirates 12-5 Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field making it 12 straight wins. You know what that means? Free burgers from George Webb.
The company will announce a burger giveaway date Thursday at noon.
“Please don’t show up today,” vice president Ryan Stamm told Wisconsin’s Morning News. “We will announce a giveaway date on Thursday on our social media pages and website.”
George Webb’s famously gave away free burgers following Brewers winning streaks in 1987 and 2018.

The free burgers promotion does come at a cost for the company, Stamm admitted.
“We don’t have insurance for this,” Stamm explained. “In the long run, it pays off. Our customers take care of us. Not everyone is coming in just for a free burger. (The give-away) is strong for the brand and important to us but no insurance policy for this one.”
The Crew are now 76-44 on the season.
They’ll have a day off Thursday then embark on an 8-game road trip to Cincinnati and Chicago for a 5-game series against the Cubs.
