UK COVID-19 variant discovered in Kenosha County

KENOSHA- The State of Wisconsin recording the 7th finding of the coronavirus variant most commonly found in the United Kingdom. For the first time since arriving in Milwaukee a case of the variant was found in Kenosha County on Monday.

Kenosha County Health Officer Dr. Jennifer Freiheit said the individual tested positive earlier in February and already completed the isolation period.

Cases of the varient have also been found in Dane, and Milwaukee Counties.
