Julietta Henry, Milwaukee County’s elections leader, holds her final election night update after finalizing the count of all Milwaukee County votes.
“I am honored to have earned the support of voters, workers, and families across Southeast Wisconsin,” Steil said in a statement. “As I’ve done throughout my first term in office, I will continue working hard to serve you, be available and accessible to all, and advocate for policies that support Wisconsin workers and families.”
“I think Wisconsin is probably going to be ending up in the blue column based on how I look at the math with [Milwaukee County] numbers and Madison still counting. I can’t say the same about Michigan and Pennsylvania,” said Democratic Strategist Evan Zeppos.
“I’m more nervous than I was two hours ago,” said Democratic strategist Evan Zeppos. “Everyone had talked early on about how Biden has a lot of paths to get to 270 [electoral votes] and one by one they’ve been eliminated.”
“I think we’re going to be over 90% turnout for the county,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “It’s going to be a big night all around.”

To the tune of the famous song “YMCA,” one Trump supporter has created his version titled “MAGA.” The president’s supporters are excited and “cautiously optimistic,” according to @AndrewHittGOP. #ElectionNight pic.twitter.com/4vfjozHOaI— Kevin Wells (@Wells15Kevin) November 4, 2020
“We’ve seen some anecdotal things throughout the day,” said Chairman of the Wisconsin Republican Party Andrew Hitt. “Long lines in Republican leaning areas, no lines at Democratic strongholds…I think people are excited and enthusiastic at the chances of the president winning Wisconsin.”
“Joe Biden has many paths to 270 [Electoral votes], Donald Trump doesn’t have as many,” said Democratic Strategist Evan Zeppos. “While would would have liked to have Florida early to at least indicate progress, we’re not going to get it.”
The polls in Wisconsin have closed.
