The show must go on!
The all-virtual 12th annual Milwaukee Film Festival kicks off today.
“It’s something we never thought would have been possible to actually host the 2020 Milwaukee Film Festival without having a single event in-person,” Jonathan Jackson tells WTMJ. “The whole foundation of the Film Festival, it’s growth over the last 12 years, has been the amazing crowds we can bring together at venues across the city to watch the best films of the year. But at a time when we can’t safely be together, packed next to each other in a cinema, 1000 people, I feel incredibly lucky to present nearly 200 films straight to people’s television screens.”
All you need to do is head to the Festival’s website and you can purchase tickets for the 10-day event. The films can be viewed on your Smart TV, desktop, or smart phone.
