After taking over seven month for Wisconsin to surpass 100,000 reported COVID-19 cases, it took three weeks for this total to surpass 150,000.
The Department of Health Services says as of Sunday, October 11, 2020, Wisconsin had 150,236 positive COVID-19 tests since the pandemic began. 28,988 of those cases are considered active.
Sunday saw 2,676 positive tests from 10,247 total tests analyzed. That is a positive percentage rate of 26.1-percent.
The rolling seven-day average for daily positive percentage rate remains at a pandemic high this weekend at 18.6-percent.
The total number of deaths from the virus increased by seven Sunday to 1,465.
Hospitalizations across Wisconsin have dipped over the weekend to 872. That is down from levels that were over 900 several days ago.
