Several of southeast Wisconsin’s largest communities are expanding their options for community COVID-19 testing.
For Waukesha County, they have a new partnership with Village Primary Care Providers and the Waukesha Free Clinic at Carroll University to expand testing opportunities.
Village Primary Care Providers will administer tests at the Waukesha County Expo Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is not required but encouraged, and can be made here.
The Waukesha Free Clinic will administer tests in the parking lot of Carroll University Community Health Services building, located at 237 Wisconsin Avenue in Waukesha, every Tuesday and Thursday, and alternating Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments and pre-registration is required to get tested at this site. As for the current Wisconsin National Guard assisted COVID-19 testing at the Waukesha County Expo Center, the county will continue to offer this on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This will run through December 9. The site will be closed on November 11, 13, and 27.
In Kenosha County, their Division of Health will continue a partnership with the Wisconsin National Guard to offer testing through early December at two sites.
On Mondays through December 7, they will be at the Kenosha County Job Center, located at 8600 Sheridan Road in Kenosha, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Fridays through December 4, they will be at the Kenosha County Center, located at highways 45 and 50 in Bristol, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
Pre-registration for these sites can be made here, but is not required.
In the City of Milwaukee, they will begin offering testing October 12 at Northwest Health Center, located at 7630 West Mill Road, and Southside Health Center, located at 1639 South 23rd Street.
In addition, Milwaukee County Emergency Management is preparing to begin a testing site at Miller Park. They plan to open it on October 19. It will replace the current Wisconsin National Guard assisted sites at UMOS and Custer Stadium. They will end operations on October 17.
