The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office says that a 34-year-old motorcycle rider from Milwaukee has died after a collision Thursday afternoon.
It happened at about 1:05 p.m. Thursday at the corner of Hillview Drive and National Avenue in the Town of Vernon.
According to investigators’ initial reports, a 73-year-old man from the Town of Waukesha was driving a car east on National and attempted a left turn to go north on Hillview.
The Sheriff’s office says that the car then hit the motorcycle, which was going west on National. The rider died at the scene.
The man in the car was not hurt.
Investigators continue to look into the cause of the crash.
