The kids are home from school, parents are working from home, many bars and restaurants are closed. Life is anything but normal right now thanks to the coronavirus crisis.
But Calie Herbst of MKEwithKids.com says that doesn’t mean we should all be sitting around in our pajamas all day watching Netflix.
“It’s so important to create new routines,” she tells WTMJ. “Kids thrive on that, and so do adults quite frankly.”
She says figure out what works for your family, then make a schedule and stick to it.
“Psychologically, it’s going to be important for everybody during this shutdown period to still be on a regular wake-up and grooming schedule, getting on a regular meal schedule. Just figuring out what that looks like for your family.”
