UPDATE 7 p.m.: Milwaukee Police has provided more details regarding the motorcycle accident.
Officers were called to the scene just after 3 p.m. They determined a 25-year-old male lost control of his motorcycle, causing it to crash. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
An investigation continues, with speed possibly a factor in the crash.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office says that a motorcycle rider has died after a crash.
It happened late Friday afternoon near the corner of South 11th and West Burnham Streets.
There was no initial word on the cause of the crash or the identity of the person who died.
This is the second deadly motorcycle crash in as many days in Milwaukee County. A motorcycle rider was killed on I-41/894 Thursday.
Another person died in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning on I-94 in Waukesha County.
