Packers fans, shovelers, Uncle Curly wants you.
The Packers are asking for 700 people to come out as early as 6 a.m. Sunday to help shovel out Lambeau Field before Sunday’s divisional playoff game against Seattle (5:40 p.m. kickoff, 11 a.m. broadcast time on WTMJ and worldwide on desktop and laptop).
The Packers say they expect snow to fall Saturday night going into Sunday.
The team asks people to come to the Fleet Farm gate on the west side of the stadium. Fans will be able to park in Lot 6, but must remove their vehicles after completing shoveling.
Fans will have to enter the stadium through metal detectors due to the NFL gameday security policy. Fans will not be allowed to bring in bags, backpacks or purses.
The Packers require shovelers to be at least 18 years old. They will pay shovelers $12 per hour as soon as their work is done.
The team will provide shovels.
