The City of Milwaukee says that it is halting restrictions involving timed and metered parking and night parking, citing the number of people who are social distancing due to coronavirus.
On the city’s parking services page, authorities say that vehicles must still follow other parking rules, including “no parking” signs.
The city says parking enforcement officers will focus on those who:
– Don’t properly use handicapped parking spaces
– Obstruct traffic, bikes and streetcars
– Park too close to to an alley, driveway, crosswalk or fire hydrant
– Loading zones
