BROOKFIELD, Wis. — No one was injured after a fire damages the roof of a home in the City of Brookfield.
Fire crews responded around 8:57 a.m. after a homeowner reported seeing flames coming from the roof near N. 145th Street and Woodland Place in the City of Brookfield.
Crews found smoke coming from the back of the house, and were able to get the flames under control in about 20 minutes. There was damage to the roof.
One person was treated on scene and released by the ambulance crew.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
