Milwaukee police investigating after body recovered from Menomonee River

MILWAUKEE — A body has been found in the Menomonee River west of downtown Milwaukee.

Police pulled the body from the water around 11:39 a.m. Monday in the the 2100 block of W. Mt. Vernon Avenue, near the former City Lights Brewing site.

Foul play is not currently suspected, but the cause of death remains under investigation.
