- She was the first Milwaukee Brewers In-Game Host, which she lovingly calls the ‘best summer job ever!’
- Sandy once effectively coached Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon to properly sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at a Chicago Cubs 7th Inning Stretch.
- She was an instrumental part in creating Milwaukee’s first and only official Alice Cooper Day on October 1, 2021.
- Sandy once made Bill Murray laugh!
- When she was nine years old, Sandy saw her first concert, KISS, with her Dad.

Bio:
An Emmy-nominated host, content creator and marketer, Sandy Maxx has done it all. She thrives when highlighting shared creative experiences with expertise in arts, pop culture and all things Milwaukee.
She’s known to many for hosting ‘The Arts Page,’ an Emmy-award-winning program on Milwaukee PBS, since 2012. Sandy was also the Brewers’ first In-Game Host and double-majored in Broadcasting and Political Science at Marquette University.
In 2019, Marquette’s J. William and Mary Diederich College of Communication honored Sandy with the James T. Tiedge Memorial Award for Ethics and Social Responsibility in Journalism.
Although she was not born here, Sandy is a Milwaukee-area staple whose appreciation of and relationships across Southeast Wisconsin are second to none.
Sandy has more than 20 years of experience in radio and broadcasting across the greater Chicago and Milwaukee areas. Much of her experience is as an on-air host, but she has also been part of the promotions, marketing and programming sides of radio. She now hosts 620 WTMJ’s premier program for culture and creativity called ‘What’s On Tap.’
