UPDATE: Milwaukee Police were called to a domestic violence call on Saturday evening where officers exchanged gun fire with a suspect.
Officers were responding to call around 6 p.m at the 4300 block of N. 84 th street that a man with a gun was battering another individual.
An officer did pursue ta suspect who had a gun and shot at police.
The officer returned fire striking the suspect with a non-life threatening gun shot wound. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital.
What we have learned about the suspect is that he is a 34 year-old Milwaukee man who is on parole for first degree reckless homicide and is wanted for parole violation.
No other details have been released at this time regarding the suspect.
Fortunately, no officers were harmed.

MILWAUKEE — A suspect has been injured during an officer-involved shooting in Milwaukee.
According to the press release, the officer-involved shooting occurred on the 4300 block of N. 84th St.
All officers are reported “okay.”
