Pavement buckling issues led to the westbound lanes of a highway closing during the Thursday rush hour.

• between County Hwy C and County Hwy P (Brown St)
• Avoid until at least 4 pm

Forecasts this week are expected to include some 90 degree temperatures in our area, which could lead to more instances of such a situation happening.
