For the second time this week, Wisconsin has seen more than 1,000 positive coronavirus tests in a 24-hour period.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says 1,052 COVID-19 tests administered in the last 24 hours came out positive. That total is 340 more than the 712 positive test results released Wednesday.
There were 1,117 positive coronavirus tests in the state on Tuesday – the highest of the pandemic.

6.9 percent of coronavirus tests came out positive on Thursday in Wisconsin.
The seven-day average for daily new cases in Wisconsin has also risen to 896, a bump from 874 on Wednesday.

13 more people have died after having tested positive for coronavirus, making the death toll in Wisconsin a total of 878 people.
48 more people have been hospitalized due to COVID-19. That means 4,273 people have faced hospitalization – 9.3 percent of all people who have tested positive in our state.
45,899 people have had positive tests in the state of Wisconsin since the pandemic began.
