A man who attacked a woman at random and sexually assaulted her in Madison has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
28-year-old Dorian Wade was also sentenced on Friday, December 20, 2019, to 10 years on extended supervision.
He attacked a 24-year-old UW Madison graduate student who was walking home early in the morning on April 7, 2018.
Prosecutors asked for 18 years in prison but a Dane County Circuit Court Judge Nicholas McNamara imposed a lengthier sentence, saying that Wade had not been honest throughout the entire process.
