MILWAUKEE — Spring Training at Miller Park? Well, it’s an option.
Due to the significant increases in COVID-19 cases in Arizona and Florida, where all 30 MLB teams hold Spring Training, the league has shut down all facilities for cleaning purposes.
The announcement coming in-light-of a report of over 40 players and team personel testing postive for COVID-19.
So if teams aren’t allowed to host Spring Training there, another option is their home ballparks. However, in order to get to that point an agreement must be made between MLBPA and MLB owners. With growing concerns of COVID-19, agreeing to a deal may have become more difficult.
