(Jeff’s dream moment call comes 10:56 into the video.)
Admit it, Milwaukee Brewers fans: We miss baseball. Big time, we miss baseball.
A viral YouTube series is coming to the rescue, and including WTMJ’s own Jeff Levering in a dream moment for Milwaukee Brewers fans.
The channel Dodgerfilms has more than 1.14 million subscribers, gathering them in through numerous fun baseball and softball videos, from a madcap group of friends playing softball which grew a cult following, to channel founder Bobby Crosby’s “MLB the Show” series.
That series is now all Crosby can do with his love of America’s pastime, due to the coronavirus pandemic. So he has been creating videos of this current team in the series – your Milwaukee Brewers, adding a character by his name.
“Bobby Crosby” has obliterated all MLB batting records over the history of his series, as he rotates playing on all 30 MLB franchises.
His tenure with the Brewers has now reached the World Series, where his character led the Brewers to face the Los Angeles Angels in a series that turned to a seventh game, and a bottom-of-the-ninth moment with two out and his Brewers trailing 8-6.
That’s where Levering gets involved – with a call of a moment every Milwaukee Brewers fan dreams of.
Listen to the raw call below. But the video above is absolute gold, the kind to get Brewers fans fantasizing of it someday becoming reality. Someday, it just might.
