The deal many Milwaukee Brewers fans have been hoping for, wishing for, even praying for is close to reality.
Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports and The Athletic says the Brewers and Christian Yelich have their sights set on a seven-year contract.

The Athletic reported Tuesday that it could be seven new contract years, or they could replace Yelich’s current two years remaining on his deal.
Yelich won the 2018 National League MVP and was a candidate in 2019 for the same award, leading the NL in numerous offensive categories.
