The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers will soon have a new opponent in the Horizon League.
The league has added Robert Morris, a university based in metropolitan Pittsburgh, as its 12th member. They will compete in nine sports as a league member.
The Horizon League consists of the following schools:
– UWM
– Cleveland State
– Detroit Mercy
– Illinois-Chicago
– IUPUI
– Northern Kentucky
– Oakland (Mich.)
– IPFW
– UW-Green Bay
– Wright State
– Youngstown State
This expands the conference’s footprint from metropolitan Pittsburgh west to Milwaukee, Green Bay and Chicago.
Robert Morris has made nine NCAA Men’s Basketball tournaments and seven NCAA Women’s Basketball tournaments. Both squads qualified for the tournament in 2020.
