In one year at Marquette, Megan Duffy inherited a women’s basketball team replete with talent, coming off success, but missing numerous senior stars.
With an implementation of “The Marquette Way,” the culture she built of caring for the whole person, Duffy has shepherded her team to second place in the Big East Conference, which means a two-seed in this weekend’s Big East Championship Tournament in Chicago.
For her work, the Big East has chosen her as Coach of the Year for women’s basketball.
Jay Sorgi sat down for a 1-on-1 conversation with her about her life journey in basketball, her experience at Marquette, the sacrifices and culture surrounding the world of coaching college basketball and a lot of fun topics on WTMJ Conversations.
Listen at 11 a.m. Sunday on WTMJ.
