MILWAUKEE – A unique homestand awaits the Milwaukee Brewers.
After the Crew hosts a 3-game series with the Seattle Mariners (beginning Tuesday night), the team will play two afternoon games against the Braves before traveling to Williamsport for the Little League Classic on Sunday evening.
“I’m sure you’re undaunted by the travel schedule,” Vince Vitrano joked while chatting with Murphy on WTMJ’s Wis. Morning News.
“I wouldn’t say we’re ‘totally undaunted’ by the schedule,” Murph responded. “It’ll require the guys to get out of their comfort zone, but that’s part of the journey.”
Murphy looked forward to the ‘responsibility’ of meeting and spending time with the Little Leaguers.
Brice Turang is expected back in the line-up as the Brewers take on the Mariners Tuesday night. The homestand comes after a big series win of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
“I think they respect us,” Murph said of the Dodgers. “I don’t know about the Justin Beibers of the world, but the team respects us.”
