One team was bothered by the snow.
One team wasn’t.
One team was confident in its footing on the slippery turf.
One team wasn’t.
Other NFC foes won’t fare any better than the Titans did.
The Seahawks tried and failed last year.
The Rams’ quarterback has a broken thumb.
The Saints are the quintessential dome team.
And the Packers likely won’t see the sub-.500 NFC East champ or the 7-seed.
The Buccaneers are the one team that scares. They’ve got an elite defense. They already steamrolled the Packers. They were clicking on all cylinders this past weekend. And their quarterback won 6 Super Bowls playing in blustery New England. He’s used to it.
We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
But fans or no fans, the Green Bay Packers showed the importance of home field advantage on Sunday Night.
Now, ironically, they have to go on the road to clinch it next weekend.
