In Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania: A group of high school students safely stopped their school bus after the driver suffered a medical emergency while dropping them off, the Altoona Mirror reported.
The bus continued rolling as students were getting off at their stop. The students recognized that the driver needed help and worked together to bring the bus to a stop, according to the school district.
“I was like, ‘What am I supposed to do,'” Alexis Smith told the paper. “I panicked a little bit, and then I realized I had to slam the gear shifter up first.”
