As October baseball looms, the Milwaukee Brewers continue to tinker with the team’s starting pitching.
The Brewers had been using a 6-man rotation and Shane Drohan is still expected to get a “handful of starts,” according to Arnold.
“We’re still in the process of working through (the rotation),” Brewers president of baseball operations Matt Arnold told WTMJ’s Wis. Morning News. “We’re working through different combinations. We want to be cautious and protect (our pitchers).”
Eventually someone (likely Drohan) will move to the bullpen.
“By having an additional bullpen arm, it protects the rest of that group when the team goes down to a 5 man rotation,” Arnold explained.
