In the fifth of a series of interviews on the subject of faith and politics that we’re calling A Matter of Faith, Steve Scaffidi sat down with Pastor Tim Peters, of Parkway Church in Oak Creek for a wide-ranging conversation about faith, culture, politics and the importance of meaningful dialogue.

Peters joined Steve for a fascinating conversation about how he approaches his life’s work and spirituality, and how he has woven the importance of elections and voting into his own faith community. Peters highlighted several areas where he believes politics and faith intersect, and he talked about inviting elected officials and community leaders into his place of worship.

In this episode of the Scaffidiology Podcast, Scaffidi and Pastor Peters explore the connection between faith, community and politics.

As Pastor Peters puts it: “You do not have to possess our history to be a part of our future.”

The Scaffidiology Podcast is available on the podcast page or wherever you get your podcasts.

Steve Scaffidi is also the host of Point Taken, which airs from 10-2, weekdays on 620 WTMJ
