MILWAUKEE — A Milwaukee woman has been arrested for an OWI after driving the wrong way on the freeway.
According to a criminal complaint, 30-year-old Tequila Williams was arrested after driving the wrong way on I-41 near Good Hope Road last Saturday, October 17. She was allegedly heading southbound in the northbound lanes.
Law enforcement approached Williams,’ who admitted to drinking “a little bit” before she refused a breathalyzer test. Williams was asked what was going on, and she told police she merged on the wrong side, and she was trying to find the lane to get out.
Officers found an open bottle of ‘Don Julio’ tequila in her car during their search.
