MILWAUKEE — A man is charged in a fatal Milwaukee crash that killed a man and left another person with life-threatening injuries.
According to a criminal complaint, Jordan Hall led police on a roughly two and a half mile chase, speeding through school zones at speeds over 95 miles per hour on the city’s northwest side.
He specifically drove through school zones at James Groppi High School, Frances Stams Early Childhood Center, and
Clarke Street School. The pursuit occurred at 2:30 p.m. on a Monday when schools were in session.
He then crashed into another vehicle, which killed 42-year-old Jose Lezama-Flores and left the other passenger on life support.
Hall told police later in an interview that he was in the city to buy and sell meth after failing to get a job. He also stated to police, “[Expletive] man, I should’ve just stopped.”
Hall was wanted on a bench warrant for bail jumping. He’s charged with six felonies, each with a repeater charge, and faces over 143 years in prison if convicted.
