David Crowley and Tom Tiffany finally shared a debate stage Wednesday night, but Point Taken hosts Steve Scaffidi and Kristin Brey came away wanting more specifics from both candidates.
“Light on details,” Brey said while breaking down the only scheduled debate between the Democratic Milwaukee County executive and Republican congressman.
The one-hour Oct. 21 debate at Marquette University Law School was moderated by WISN 12’s Matt Smith and Gerron Jordan. Topics included affordability, taxes, health care, immigration, data centers and election security. Election Day is Nov. 3.
For undecided Wisconsin voters, the night offered clear contrasts between Crowley and Tiffany. Whether it provided enough detail to make their decision easier was another question.
