MILWAUKEE — Temporary changes coming are coming to Milwaukee’s parking meters.
The City of Milwaukee says that Park-O-Meter, the company providing software supporting the meters, is ending operations on October 1st.
The city’s parking meters will no longer accept physical credit cards but will still accept coins and payment through the apps, such as MKE Park.
The city says the company’s decision was unexpected and provided little advanced notice
They also say they are working to find a new vendor as soon as possible, which had been considered before the announcement.
