MOUNT PLESANT, Wis.– A man from Milwaukee was cited for disorderly conduct after he tripped a child during a youth football game.
Mount Pleasant Police responded Saturday morning to Case High School in Racine. Coaches told police that the man was a parent from the Milwaukee Colts who was upset with a play.
A spectator at the game provided video of the incident, which showed the 41-year old suspect enter the field, extend his leg and trip a 9-year-old Case Eagles player running down the field.
The act generated a reaction from the parents watching the game, forcing the suspect to leave.
Police eventually tracked the 41-year-old down, who admitted to authorities that he was in the wrong, before he was cited and released.
The 9 year old was not hurt.
