MILWAUKEE — A woman is charged with hiding a man who shot three people in Milwaukee.
38-year-old Elena Cole is accused of hiding 36-year-old Thomas Zollicoffer in her home.
She then left him alone with her children, aged 15, 10, and 6, while she went drinking.
Zollicoffer killed three people on August 8 in two separate shooting, one of them related to domestic violence.
Cole told police she knew what he had done and didn’t call police because she “did not want to get into it.”
Zollicoffer told her that he was planning to get into a “shootout with police” so he did not have to go back to jail.
She facings one felony count of harboring a fugitive and three misdemeanor charges of child neglect.
