MILWAUKEE— The Milwaukee Bucks will open the 2026-27 season October 21 on the road against the Washington Wizards.
Milwaukee will then host the Chicago Bulls on October 23 for its first home game of the season at Fiserv Forum.
This will be the Bucks’ first season without Giannis Antetokounmpo since 2012-13 after he was traded to the Miami Heat this offseason.
The schedule includes two games against Miami, which are the only nationally televised games this year for the Bucks. The Bucks will visit the Heat November 18, with that game airing on ESPN, before Miami comes to Milwaukee January 28 for a matchup that will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
The Bucks will have 16 weekend home games this season, with seven on Friday, four on Saturdays and five on Sundays.
Milwaukee also has 14 back-to-backs, a five-game road trip from January 17 through January 26 and a six-game homestand from March 29 through April 8.
The regular season wraps up April 11.
Bucks return to over-the-air television
The Bucks will return to full-season over-the-air television for the first time in 31 years.
Games that aren’t nationally televised will air on MY24, along with statewide affiliates in Green Bay, Madison, La Crosse-Eau Claire and Wausau-Rhinelander. The Duluth-Superior affiliate will be announced later.

NBA Cup
Milwaukee will compete in East Group A of the Emirates NBA Cup with Brooklyn, Detroit, Orlando and Toronto.
The Bucks begin group play November 6 against Toronto at Fiserv Forum. They’ll then play at Orlando November 13, host Brooklyn November 25 and visit Detroit November 27.
The NBA Cup quarterfinals and semifinals will be held December 4-5 and December 8-9, with the championship December 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Preseason
The Bucks’ five-game preseason starts October 5 against Minnesota at Fiserv Forum.
They’ll then face Oklahoma City October 7, Charlotte October 11, Chicago October 14 and Indiana October 16.
Single-game tickets for the regular season and preseason go on sale Friday, August 14 at noon. Ten-game ticket plans are already available.
